Currently, my homelab is quite small, consisting of a prodesk 400g2 (16gb ram, 256gb storage) and nothing else. Even though its just a minipc, it is powerful and im running quite a lot of services, including pterodactyl, uptime kuma, this very site and more!
It is all running inside of proxmox, my operating system of choice.
While it is currently quite small, i am planning on expanding it in the future. My current goal is more robust networking (a mini-rack, network switch and some self-crimped cables), while im running fairly low on remaining compute, it will do until i can afford a second minipc :/
